A Museum Walk in the Forest: Where Nature and Art Meet in the City

The Museum Walk in the Forest is a leisurely tour through spaces where nature and art harmonize. As part of the Visit Gwangju 2025 program, this course takes visitors through Gwangju City Arboretum, Gwangjuho Lake Eco Park, and Ullim-dong Art Valley.

Gwangju City Arboretum offers a peaceful retreat in the city, featuring themed gardens such as the Four Seasons Forest, Future Health Forest, and Forest of Welcome. The tour continues to Gwangjuho Lake Eco Park, an ecological space along Gwangjuho Lake. It is part of the Mudeungsan UNESCO Global Geopark, where visitors can experience nature up close. The final stop is Ullim-dong Art Valley, home to a cluster of galleries, including G&Y Museum of Art, De Young Art Museum, Mudeung Museum of Contemporary Art, and Woo Jaeghil Art Museum.
