해설문
국문
동문터 주변에서는 8각 건물터, 9각 건물터 , 사각 건물터가 1곳씩 확인되었다. 8각 건물터는 지름이 8.8m이다. 중심부에 하나의 초석을 두고 주변으로 세 줄의 초석이 원을 그리며 놓여 있다. 초석의 수는 21개이다. 주요 유물로는 격자문·당초문* 기와, 고배, 합**, 벼루, 도가니***, 시루, 철제 못 등이 있다. 사직단****으로 추정한다.
- 당초문: 덩굴풀이 꼬여서 뻗어나가는 모양을 그린 무늬
- 합: 뚜껑이 있는 그릇
- 도가니: 쇠붙이를 녹이는데 쓰는 오목한 그릇
- 사직단: 토지의 신인 ‘사＇와 곡식의 신인 ‘직＇에게 제사를 지내던 제단
영문
Octagonal Building Site of Iseongsanseong Fortress, Hanam
Three building sites were discovered near the eastern gate of Iseongsanseong Fortress. They include one octagonal, one nonagonal, and one rectangular building site.
The Octagonal Building Site measures 8.8 m in diameter and is presumed to have served as an altar for the spirits of the land and grain. A total of 21 pillar base stones were confirmed on the site. One stone is located in the center, while the rest are placed around it in three concentric eight-sided polygons. The artifacts excavated from the site include roof tiles with lattice and scroll designs, high-footed cups, lidded bowls, inkstones, melting pots, steamers, and iron nails.

동문터 주변에서는 8각 건물터, 9각 건물터, 직사각형 건물터가 1곳씩 발견되었다.
8각 건물터는 지름이 8.8m로, 토지의 신과 곡식의 신에게 제사를 지내던 제단이었던 것으로 추정된다. 초석의 수는 총 21개로, 중심부에 하나의 초석을 두고 주변으로 세 줄의 초석이 원을 그리며 놓여 있는 구조이다. 주요 유물로는 격자문·당초문 기와, 고배, 합, 벼루, 도가니, 시루, 철제 못 등이 있다.
