우륵이 의림지의 석양 노을을 바라보면서 고향을 그리워하며, 가야금을 탔던 곳이라고 전해진다.
이 대의 저수지 안쪽을 보면 이석조라는 사람이 각서한 연자암 각서를 볼 수 있다.
해질녘 서쪽을 배경으로 사진을 찍으면 멋진 사진을 얻을 수 있다.
영문
Ureukjeong Pavilion and Ureukdae Rock
This site commemorates Ureuk, a renowned musician of Gaya (42-562) who lived circa the 6th century. Ureuk is known to have developed and popularized the Korean 12-string hand-plucked zither, known as the gayageum.
It is said that Ureuk played the gayageum at this spot while enjoying the sunset over Uirimji Reservoir. The site consists of a wide flat rock, known as Ureukdae (“Ureuk’s Platform”), and a pavilion built in 2007 named Ureukjeong (“Ureuk’s Pavilion”).
영문 해설 내용
이곳은 6세기 경에 살았던 가야의 유명한 음악가 우륵을 기리는 곳이다. 우륵은 12줄로 된 한국의 현악기인 가야금을 만들고 널리 알린 것으로 알려져 있다.
우륵은 이곳에서 의림지의 노을을 바라보며 가야금을 탔다고 전해진다. 이곳에는 우륵대라는 너럭바위와 2007년에 지은 우륵정이라는 정자가 조성되어 있다.
