국문
『대방광원각수다라요의경약초서(大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經略鈔序)』는『대방광원각수다라요의경약소서(大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經略䟽序)』, 『대방광원각수다라요의경서(大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經序)』 등 여러 불경의 서문들을 모아 간행한 책이다. 줄여서 『원각경(圓覺經)』으로 부르기도 한다. 고려시대 고승 지눌(知訥)이 『요의경(了義經)』이라 부르며 13세기부터 널리 유통시켰던 불서를 1465년(세조 11)에 왕명으로 간경도감에서 찍어낸 것이다.
이 경전은 간경도감본 『원각경』이 처음 인쇄된 이듬해인 1465년에 완간(完刊)과 관련한 서문(序文)들을 모아 간행한 것으로서 『원각경』이 1464년 간경도감에서 간행된 사실을 파악하게 해 주는 매우 중요한 자료이다.

Exerpt of Mahavaipulya purnabuddha Sutra (The Complete Enlightenment Sutra) of Baramilseonwon Temple, Gimhae
The Complete Enlightenment Sutra teaches about the doctrine and meditation practices of Mahayana Buddhism in the form of a discussion between the Buddha and 12 bodhisattvas. The sutra became popular and was widely distributed in Korea after it was highly praised by the eminent monk Jinul (1158-1210).
This excerpt of the Complete Enlightenment Sutra kept at Baramilseonwon Temple is a collection of prefaces to the Complete Enlightenment Sutra. It was published in 1465 following the publication of the Complete Enlightenment Sutra by the Directorate of Buddhist Publications in 1464. This book is an important resource in understanding the 1464 printing of the sutra.
영문 해설 내용
『대방광원각수다라요의경』은 부처와 열두 보살이 주고받는 문답을 통해 대승불교 사상과 수행 절차를 설명한 경전이다. 고승 지눌(1158-1210)이 깊이 신봉한 이후 널리 유통되었다.
바라밀선원이 소장한 『대방광원각수다라요의경약초서』는 『대방광원각수다라요의경』의 서문들을 모은 책이다. 1464년에 『대방광원각수다라요의경』이 간행된 이후 1465년에 간행되었다. 『대방광원각수다라요의경』이 1464년에 간행된 사실을 파악하게 해주는 매우 중요한 자료이다.
