Definition
칠석은 전설 속의 견우와 직녀가 오작교에서 만난다는 날인 음력 7월 7일로, 젊은 여자들이 과일ㆍ술ㆍ산적ㆍ바느질감 등을 벌여놓고 길쌈과 바느질 솜씨가 뛰어나게 해달라고 비는 세시풍속이 있는데 이를 걸교(乞巧)라 한다.
