Definition
죽부인(竹夫人)은 대나무를 쪼개 길면서 둥글고 속이 비게 엮어 만든 기물로, 여름에 안고 자면 땀이 나지 않고 시원하다. 서유구(徐有榘)의 《임원경제지 섬용지(林園經濟志 贍用志)》에 죽부인을 제작하는 방법과 사용법이 실려있다.
