홍마조

Definition

홍마조(紅亇條)는 붉은 색을 띠는 막대 모양의 과자이다. 왕실 가례때 동뢰연상에 올린다. 밀가루에 꿀을 넣어 반죽한 다음, 네모지고 길게 막대모양으로 썰어 참기름에 지져낸 것을 꿀에 담궜다가 꺼내어 지초(芝草)로 물들인 사분백미(沙粉白米) 고물로 묻힌 것이다.
