在玉河館。是日陰。有百戶張述祖來言曰。我是左軍都督府總兵老爹所差送你遼東者也。兵部及會同館關文。皆已出了。二三日間。你們都起程了。袖出差箚付以示之。其文曰。左軍都督府。爲海洋聲息事。該經歷司案呈。准兵部職方淸吏司手本。奉本部連送該本部題。該本司案呈。奉本部送於 內府。抄出鎭守浙江司設監太監張慶題前事。轉行該府。差官一員伴送。沿途軍衛。量撥軍夫。防護至遼東。聽鎭，巡等官另差通事人員。送至朝鮮地界。令其自行回還。緣係處置遭風外夷歸國。及奉 欽依。該部知道事理。未敢擅便。弘治元年四月初一日。太子太保本部尙書余子俊等具題。次日奉 聖旨。是。欽此欽遵。擬合通行。除外。仰行該府經歷司呈府。照依本部奏奉 欽依內事理。欽遵。差委的當官一員伴送。仍行鎭守遼東太監韋朗，總兵官緱謙，幷沿途軍衛衙門。一體欽遵施行。連送到司。合用手本。前去左軍都督府經歷司呈府。依文施行。手本案呈到府。擬合通行。除備由連人移咨外合箚。仰本職卽將夷人崔溥等。用心防護。伴送前去遼東鎭守總兵官緱謙處交割。另差通事人員伴去人。毋致疏延不便。須至箚付者。

백호(百戶) 장술조(張述祖)가 와서 말하기를,
“나는 좌군도독부(左軍都督府)의 총병(總兵) 영감의 부름을 받아 당신을 요동으로 호송할 사람입니다. 병부 및 회동관의 관문(關文)이 모두 나왔으니 2-3일 사이에 당신들 모두 길을 떠나게 될 것입니다” 라고 하였습니다.
소매 속에서 차출의 차부(箚付)를 꺼내어 보여 주었는데, 그 글은 다음과 같았습니다.
좌군도독부 : 〈해양 상황에 관한 건 경력사(經歷司)에서 올린 정문(呈文)에 병부(兵部) 직방청리사(職方淸吏司)의 수본(手本)에 의하면 '본부(本部)의 명을 받들어 본부의 제본(題本)을 함께 발송하고, 본 직방청리사가 올려 보낸 정문(呈文)을 본부의 명을 받아 내부(內府)로 발송하고, 진수절강사설감태감(鎭守浙江司設監太監) 장경(張慶)의 상기 안건에 대한 제본(題本)의 초본(抄本)을 작성하여, 해당 도독부에 이첩(移牒)하여 관원 한사람을 차출하여 호송토록 하고, 연도(沿途)의 군위(軍衛)에서는 군부(軍夫)를 적절히 차출하여 호위토록 하되, 요동(遼東)에 이르러 진수(鎭守),순안(巡按) 등 관원의 지시를 받아 통사(通事) 인원을 따로 차출하여 조선과의 경계 지점까지 보내주어 그들 스스로 돌아가도록 해야 하는데, 풍랑 만난 외이(外夷)를 귀국시키는 일이고 또 삼가 해당 부(部)에서 알아서 하라'라는 성지(聖旨)의 사리(事理)를 받들어 감히 마음대로 할 수 없는 일이기에, 홍치(弘治) 원년 4월 1일 태자태보본부상서(太子太保本部尙書) 여자준(余子俊) 등이 제본을 갖추어 올렸고, 다음날 성지를 받았는데 옳다'라는 내용이었습니다. 삼가 이를 받들어야 할 것입니다. 응당 그대로 실행해야 할 것입니다. 이 외에 해당 도독부의 경력사는 그 도독부에 정문(呈文)을 올려 본부(本部)에서 상주하여 받은 성지의 사리(事理)에 비추어 삼가 적절한 관원 1명을 파견하여 호송하도록 하고, 이어 진수요동태감(鎭守遼東太監)위낭(朗)과 총병관(總兵官) 구겸(縱謙) 및 연도의 군위(軍衛) 아문(衙門)에게 이첩하여 그대로 준수하여 시행하도록 하시기 바랍니다'라는 것으로, 함께 발송한 문서가 본 경력사에 도달하여 수본(手本)을 보낸다는 내용이었다. 좌군도독부 경력사에서 본 도독부에 정문을 올려 문서 내용에 의거하여 시행하라는 수본(手本)과 안정(案呈)이 본 도독부에 도달되었다. 응당 그대로 실행해야 할 것이다. 사유서를 갖춘 관련 인원을 칼 한 자루 활 한 장을 딸려 자문(咨文)과 함께 보내는 한편, 차부(付)를 주어 본직(本職)으로 하여금 바로 이인(夷人) 최부 등을 성심껏 호송하여 요동진수(遼東鎭守)와 총병관 구겸(綠)에게 데리고 가 인계하고, 따로 통사 인원을 차출하여 가는 사람들과 동반시켜 소홀히 지연되어 불편한 일이 생기지 않도록 해야 할 것이다. 차부(付)를 보냄.”
21st Day. At Jade River House. This day was cloudy.
Centurion Chang Shu-tsu came and said, “I am commissioned by the chiefs [tsung-ping lao-tieh] of the General Headquarters of the Left Army to escort you to Liao-tung. The documents of the Ministry of War and the Central Post Hotel have already been issued; you will set out in two or three days.” He took the commission from his sleeve and showed it to me. The text said, “The General Headquarters of the Left Army. A matter of maritime intelligence.
“The report of the Registry [Ching-li ssu] has been submitted, and permission has been granted. Identity cards of the Bureau of Maps of the Ministry of War have been received by the Ministry and sent successively on. The memorial of the said Ministry and the report of the said Registry have been taken by the Ministry and sent to the Headquarters [Nei-fu]; and copies of the memorial of Chang Ch’ing, Grand Defending Overseer for Chekiang, on the previous matter have been circulated.
“The Headquarters has commissioned one official to escort [the Koreans] by way of the military garrisons, adding and subtracting troops for protection. When they reach Liao-tung, the patrol and defense officials will be responsible for sending individually interpreters to escort them as far as the Korean border and letting them return home themselves. “Because this concerns the management of the return to their country of foreign barbarians who have encountered winds, and because we have received and respectfully complied with (the Imperial order], 'Let the proper ministry act according to the principles and facts involved,' we have not presumed to act without authority.

“Memorial drawn up by Yü Tzu-chün, Senior Guardian of the Heir Apparent and Minister, and others.
"'The next day:
“We have received His Majesty's rescript: 'Let it be so. Respect this.' Besides making all general arrangements, we have sent to the Registry of the Headquarters a report for the Headquarters. This Ministry has memorialized and received [the instructions], ‘Respectfully comply with the principles and facts of the matter. Respect this.' Accordingly, we have sent one appropriate official, commissioned to accompany (the party] as escort. Wei Lang, Grand Defending Overseer for Liao-tung, and Kou Ch’ien, Regional Commander, will go with the party by way of the military garrisons. Let all public offices respect this. The successive posts should carry out these orders thoroughly.
"It is fitting that identity cards should be used for the advances forward. When the Registry of the General Headquarters of the Left Army reports that the staff has complied with this text, the identity cards will be issued. When the report of the case reaches the General Headquarters, they will make all arrangements. Besides making preparations for sending on the men and transferring despatches, they will draw up tallies.
“The basic task is to protect Ch’oe Pu and the other barbarians well and to escort them forward. Kou Ch’ien, Grand Defending Regional Commander for Liao-tung, will take care of handing them over to separately commissioned interpreters to be escorted away. Let the men not be lax or awkward. Let this be the necessary authorization.”
