Old Missionary House of Mokpo Jeongmyeong Girls' School
National Registered Cultural Heritage No. 62
Jeollanam-do Education and Cultural Heritage No.2

This building is the first Western-style stone building built in Mokpo in 1912, which was built for the residence of missionaries from the Southern Presbyterian Church of the U.S. and used for private residence until 1989. The interior was completely renovated in 2001 and is now being used as the school's 100th anniversary hall. It is a two-story, one-basement-floor stone building with a sloping roof that has a porch for access in the front center and a balcony on the 2nd floor. Before renovation, it had two bedrooms, a drawing room, a kitchen and a laundry room on the first floor, and four bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. The outer wall was stacked in the right layers with the tuff extracted from Yudalsan Mountain and was finished with frosted work. Overall, it took a modernism style with simple plan and structure.
