해설문

국문

도산서원에서 만든 책의 목판을 보관하던 곳이다. 선조(1567~1608 재위)가 쓴 글씨와 퇴계선생의 문집, 언행록, 글씨 등을 새긴 목판을 보관하였다. 목판의 보존과 연구를 위해 2003년 목판 전량을 한국국학진흥원으로 옮겼다.

This building was a special place for storing printing woodblocks produced in this Confucian academy. The printing woodblocks kept here included the Collected Works of Yi Hwang, the Words and Acts of Yi Hwang, Yi Hwang's calligraphy, as well as a royal calligraphy by King Seonjo (r. 1567-1608). In 2003, the woodblocks were moved to the Korean Studies Institute for research and preservation.
