해설문

국문

1962년 철근콘크리트구조로 지은 2층 상가주택이다. 1층은 현재 가구점으로 사용되고 있으며, 2층은 주거공간으로 비교적 원형이 잘 남아 있다. 도로 쪽의 정면은 붉은 벽돌을 사용하고 벽기둥을 돌출시켜 건물의 입체감을 강조하였다. 지붕을 받치는 벽체 상부는 덴틸 장식으로 처리하였으며, 발코니 위쪽 부분에는 타일을 사용하여 재료의 대비감을 표현하였다. 이 건물은 1960년대 이후 솜리 지역의 상권과 상업 건축물의 특징이 잘 나타난다.

Modern Commercial Residential Building No. 4 of Pyeongdong-ro, Iksan

This two-story building was built in 1962. It is made of reinforced concrete and consists of a commercial space on the street level and a residential space above.

The facade of the building is covered with red bricks and features decorative pillars. A decorative line of white tiles stretches along the top of the front wall.

Together with the other mixed-use buildings in the vicinity, this building is valuable as it shows the urban landscape of the time when commercial activity developed in this area.

영문 해설 내용

이 2층 철근콘크리트 건물은 1962년에 지어진 상가주택이다. 현재 1층은 상가로, 2층은 주거공간으로 이용되고 있다.

건물의 정면은 붉은 벽돌로 마감하였고, 기둥은 장식적인 요소를 갖추고 있다. 벽 앞쪽에는 흰색 타일을 이용해 띠 모양의 장식을 두었다.

주변의 상가주택들과 함께, 이 일대에 상권이 발달했던 시기의 시가지 경관을 보여준다는 점에서 가치가 크다.
