국문
광화문 월대 복원과정에서 발굴된 전차궤도는 복선 형태이며, 일반 전차궤도와 달리 콘크리트 노반 위에 놓여 있었다. 박물관 전시 여건상 옆에 전시된 전차궤도는 단선을 복원하였으나 실제 복선으로 운영되었던 복선 전차궤도 단면을 그대로 이전하여 전시하게 되었다. 또한, 통의동선에 부분적으로 일반철도 레일에 앵글을 덧붙여 전차레일과 연결하여 사용한 구간이 확인되어 그 연결부의 레일도 함께 전시하였다.

영문 해설 내용
이 전차궤도는 서울 전차가 다니던 궤도로 2022년 광화문 앞 월대 복원을 위한 발굴조사 과정에서 발견되었다. 발견된 전차궤도는 복선 형태이며, 일반 전차궤도와 달리 콘크리트 노반 위에 놓여 있었다. 2023년 실제 복선으로 운영되었던 복선 전차궤도 단면을 그대로 이전하여 전시하게 되었다. 또한, 일부 구간에서 부분적으로 일반철도 레일에 앵글을 덧붙여 전차레일과 연결하여 사용한 것이 확인되어 그 연결부의 레일도 함께 전시하였다.
