해설문

국문

대문채는 구 한옥성당인 한옥 주택 내부로 진입하는 대문채로, 한옥이 건축된 1934년에 함께 지어진 것으로 보여진다.

대문채의 규모는 앞면 5칸, 옆면 1칸 반이다. 처음에는 초가지붕이었으나 1960년대 사진에는 함석판 지붕으로 나온다. 현재는 시멘트 기와로 지붕 재료를 바꾸어 사용하고 있다.

한옥을 구 부강성당으로 사용하면서 대문채에는 신자가 거주하였으나 지금은 부강성당 사무실로 사용하고 있다.
