궁궐을 둘러싸고 있는 궁장은 동서 길이가 약 240m, 남북이 약 490m이다. 담장의 폭은 3m 정도이고, 잘 다듬어진 석재를 쌓아 올려 만들었다. 담장의 안팎으로 돌을 깔아 보도(부석 시설,敷石施設)를 만들고, 담장 경계인 석렬 시설(石列施設)을 설치하였다. 서측 궁궐 담장의 부속 시설로는 물 빠짐을 위한 수구(水口)2곳, 출입을 위한 궁궐 문 터 1곳이 발견되었다

Palace Enclosure Wall - Westerm Side

This is the western side of the enclosure wall that surrounded the Baekje palace built here during the reign of King Mu (r. 600-641).

The enclosure wall consisted of a rectangle that measured 240 m from east to west and 490 m from north to south. It was constructed of hewn stones, measured 3 m in width, and was flanked by stone pavement on each side. Some parts of the wall have been newly renovated following the excavation of the site.

The western side of the wall had one gate and two watergates.
