Southern Palace Wall

This is the southern section of the wall that once surrounded the detached palace built here during the reign of King Mu (r. 600-641) of the Baekje kingdom (18 BCE-660 CE). The wall formed a rectangular which measured 240 m from east to west and 490 m from north to south.

The wall was made of refined stones and measured 3 m in width. The structural remains include pavements on either side and stone alignments which mark the edges of the wall. Among the auxiliary structures are sluice gates and ditches that were used for wastewater disposal. Gate sites were also discovered: three on the southern section and one on eastern, western, and northern sections.

Some parts of the wall were renovated with new stones. Anything about that? Should we say something about this section being on the front side of the palace complex(as an explanation to why it has more gates than the other sections)?
