History of construction of Inje Catholic Church

20th century • 1922 - present Establishment and functioning of Maru Chapel (Bupyeong-ri, Nam-myeon) and Deoksan Chapel (Deoksan-ri, Inje-myeon) in Chuncheon region • Japanese colonial period (1910-1945) – Korean War (1950-1953) Suspension of religious activities under North Korean influence, shut down of the chapes • 26 June 1954 Permission to build the Inje Catholic Church granted, visiting priest Fr.
