국문
전북대학교 구 중앙도서관은 대학교의 역사와 상징이 되는 도서관 건물이다. 1957년에 건축하였으며, 지금은 자연사박물관으로 사용하고 있다.
본 건물을 중심으로 중앙과 좌·우측에 돌출 부분을 두고 중앙에 현관을 설치하였다. 내부는 중앙 홀을 중심으로 주위에 도서관의 기능을 수용할 수 있는 공간으로 구성하였다. 외부는 기둥과 벽면을 석재로 마감하고 지붕은 함석으로 덮었다. 중앙 현관은 아취구조이고 옆의 창은 격자형으로 설치하였으며 크고 작은 석재를 가로와 세워쌓기를 혼용하면서 석조건축의 특징을 잘 보여주고 있다.

이 건물은 1957년 전북대학교의 중앙도서관으로 지어졌다. 지금은 자연사박물관으로 사용하고 있다.
건물 외벽과 기둥은 석재로 마감하였고, 위쪽은 함석 지붕으로 덮었다. 중앙 현관은 아치형 구조로 전면 중앙에서 돌출된 형태이고, 격자형의 창문이 현관 양옆 외벽에 배치되어 있다. 내부에는 중앙 홀을 중심으로 주위에 책을 보관할 수 있는 공간을 구성하였다.
