This is the site of Mireuksa Temple’s corridor. This corridor surrounded all three worship areas (eastern, western, and central) of the temple altogether, and also separated the central area from the rest of the temple**. The southern section of the corridor formed a long rectangular which measured 172 m in length and had three built-in sets of stairs and inner gates, each leading to one of the three worship areas. ***The lengths of the eastern, western and northern sections of the corridor that surrounded the central worship area measured 82.5 m, 82,5 m, and 73.2 n, respectively. The lengths of the eastern, and northern sections of the eastern worship area, as well as the western and northern sections of the western worship area measured 77.1 m and 14.7 m, respectively. All sections of the corridor measure 6.7 m in width. The central inner gate measures 19.2 m in length and 8.4 m in width, while the eastern and the western inner gates measure 12.3 m in length and 7.9 m in width, each.

The corridor measured 172 m in overall width and the corridor building itself measured about 6.7 m in depth. The center gate measured 19.2 m in width and 8.4 m in depth, while the east and west gates measured 12.3 m in width and 7.9 m in depth. The center worship area measured about 73.2 m in width and 82.5 m in depth, while the east and west worship areas measured 14.7 m in width and 77.1 m in depth. This shows that the center worship area was of greater significance than the east and west worship areas.

***I think the following part about the lengths of different section will be a bit difficult to comprehend without any visual information, no matter how we phrase it. Do we still need it?
