국문
오 후베르토는 성당 설계에 뛰어난 신부였다. 인제성당뿐만 아니라 강원도 지역의 여러 천주교 건축물에 관여하였다. 이 가운데 많은 건물이 오늘날 문화재로 지정되는 업적을 이루었다. 그렇기에 인제성당은 1950년대 강원도 지역 성당 건물의 전형적 모습을 확인할 수 있는 중요한 자료이기도 하다. 이를 통해 강원도 성당 건축 기술과 천주교 전문 기술 인력이 교류되는 모습을 이해할 수 있다.
