국문
연산서씨 석보는 연산서씨의 시조부터 대대로 내려오는 가문의 역사를 돌에 새긴 족보이다. 숭정기원후사계축추칠월기(崇禎紀元後四癸丑秋七月記)라는 기록으로 보아, 철종 4년(1853)에 제작한 것으로 추정한다. 가로 25cm, 세로 36cm, 두께 3cm의 사각 입체로 이루어졌으며, 검은 빛이 나는 단단한 돌판 4개의 8면에 약 4천 5백여 자가 기록되어 있다.
홍성군 구항면 지정리 덕은동 마을 입구의 바위벽을 깎아 만든 가로 40cm, 세로 30cm의 암석굴에 보관해 오던 석보를 연산서씨의 후손들이 1996년 12월 5일, 일반에 공개하면서 세상에 알려졌고, 현재는 홍주성역사관에 보관하고 있다.
