해설문
국문
임득의 장군은 조선 중기의 무신이며 본관은 평택이다. 선조 29년(1596) 7월, 이몽학이 충청도 홍산(현재의 부여군 홍산면)에서 반란을 일으켜 홍주성으로 공격해오자, 임득의는 홍주목사 홍가신 등과 함께 반란군을 진압하였고 그 공으로 ‘청난공신 3등’에 올랐다. 이후 충청수우후와 경상우도병마절도사 등의 관직을 거쳤다.
임득의 장군 묘소는 홍성군 서부면 판교리 청룡산에 있으며, 묘소 입구에는 1917년에 효자 김복한이 지은 신도비(神道碑)가 있다.

This is the tomb of the general Im Deuk-ui (1558-1612), a military official of the Joseon period (1392-1910).
Im Deuk-ui was bestowed the title of meritorious subject for having suppressed an uprising led by Yi Mong-hak in 1596 in which Hongjueupseong Walled Town, the seat of the local government, was attacked. After this, he served in various official posts, such as commander of the West Gyeongsang-do Province Army.
In front of the entrance to the cemetery, there is stele erected in 1917 to honor Im Deuk-ui, which features an inscription composed by Kim Bok-han (1860-1924), a civil official and civilian army leader.
