해설문

국문

동문 주변에서는 8각 건물터, 9각 건물터, 사각 건물터가 1곳씩 확인되었다. 9각 건물 터는 중심부에 120×50×30㎝ 크기의 초석* 4개가 20~40㎝ 정도 크기의 적심석** 위에 놓여 있고, 주변으로 초석이 두 겹으로 원을 그리며 놓인 구조이다. 건물 터의 지름은 10.32m이다. 원래 초석의 수는 총 22개로 추정하며, 현재 남아 있는 초석은 17개이다. 출입구나 난방시설 등은 전혀 발견되지 않았다. 이곳에 있던 건물은 하늘에 제사 지내는 제단, ‘천단’으로 추정한다. 출토유물로는 굽다리접시, 합***, 기와 조각, 완**** 등이 있다.

Nonagonal Building Site of Iseongsanseong Fortress, Hanam

Three building sites were discovered near the eastern gate of Iseongsanseong Fortress. They include one octagonal, one nonagonal, and one rectangular building site.

The Nonagonal (nine-sided) Building Site is presumed to have been an altar for the ritual offerings to the heavens. The site measures 10.32 m in diameter. It is presumed that the building had a total of 22 pillar base stones, of which 17 remain. Four of the pillar base stones are placed in the center on top of a rock-filled pillar-base hole, while the rest are placed around them in two concentric nine-sided polygons. No entrances or heating systems were identified on the site. The artifacts excavated from the site include mounted dishes, roof tile fragments, and bowls.

동문터 주변에서는 8각 건물터, 9각 건물터, 직사각형 건물터가 1곳씩 발견되었다.

9각 건물터는 하늘에 제사 지내는 제단이 있던 곳으로 추정된다. 건물터의 지름은 10.32m이다. 원래 초석의 수는 총 22개로 추정되며, 현재 남아 있는 초석은 17개이다. 초석 4개가 적심석 위에 놓여 있고, 주변으로 다른 초석들이 두 겹으로 원을 그리며 놓인 구조이다. 출입구나 난방시설 등은 전혀 발견되지 않았다. 출토유물로는 굽다리접시, 합, 기와 조각, 완 등이 있다.
