Jooseong Kim, Professor of English, Dankook U, Korea
Jooseong Kim is Professor of English at Dankook University. He is teaching English and American poetry, Irish Literature, American Cultural Studies, and Films/Drama studies. He earns his degree from LSU with the dissertation on Yeats. He serves as the President of the Korean Society of East-West Comparative Literature (2017-2019), President of Yeats Society of Korea (2021-2022), Editor of Yeats Journal of Korea (2012-2020), Editorial Secretary of ELLAK (2010-2017), and Vice-President of Modern English Literature Association of Korea (2015-2020). He publishes 29 articles and edits 8 books. His main interests include Yeats’s mystical religion and Anima Mundi, Irish studies, Comparative literature and Digital Humanities.
