Definition

【1904 년】. 디셰략해(地勢略解). 이화학당장 룰루 프라이(Lulu E. Frey, 1868~1921)가 한글번역을 주도한 지리교과서. 원래 미국에서 제임스 몬티스(James Monteith, 1833~1918)가 저술한 영문 지리서 New Physical Geography for Grammar and High Schools and Colleges (1885)를 미국 감리교 선교사 린더 윌리엄 필처(Leander William Pilcher 李安德, 1848~1893)가 중국에서 번역했고, 이를 한국에서 재번역한 것으로 보임. 지진에 대한 당대 최신 지식 소개함.
