만두과

Definition

만두과(饅頭果)는 밀가루에 꿀, 참기름, 후춧가루를 넣어 반죽하여 작게 떼어 대추나 황률가루에 꿀과 계피가루를 넣은 소를 만들어 넣고 만두 빚듯이 하여 가장자리를 꼬으면서 빚어 참기름에 튀긴 후 꿀에 담가내는 과자이다. 1887년(고종 24) 1월 27일 경복궁 만경전에서 열린 정일진찬 때 신정왕후에게 올린 대왕대비전진어찬안에 있다. 1자 3치 높이로 140개를 고였다.
