Definition

대패는 목재면을 매끈하게 하거나 표면을 필요에 따라 여러 가지 모양으로 깎아내는 연장이다. 서유구(徐有榘)의 《임원경제지 섬용지(林園經濟志 贍用志)》에 대패의 용도와 종류가 실려있다.
