창

Definition

창[牕牖])는 공기나 햇빛을 받을 수 있고, 밖을 내다볼 수 있도록 벽이나 지붕에 낸 문이다. 창유(窓牖)·창문(窓門)이라고도 한다. 서유구(徐有榘)의 《임원경제지 섬용지(林園經濟志 怡雲志)》에 중국과 우리나라의 창의 제도와 종류가 실려있다.
