변탕

Definition

변탕은 목재의 가장자리를 곧게 밀어 내거나 모서리를 턱지게 깎아 내는 대패이다. 서유구(徐有榘)의 《임원경제지 섬용지(林園經濟志 贍用志)》에 탕(鐋)의 의미에 대한 해설이 실려있다.
