在玉河館。是日陰。張夔者。張元之季也。聰慧勝兄。謂臣曰。寂寥旅館。何以消過日月。以醋醬來遺。
옥하관에 머물렀습니다.
이 날은 흐렸습니다. 장기(張愛)란 사람은 장원(張元)의 막내 동생으로서 총명함이 형보다 나았는데, 신에게 “쓸쓸하고 적막한 여관에서 무엇으로 소일합니까?”라 하면서 초(醋)와 장(醬)을 보내왔습니다.
13th Day. At Jade River House. This day was cloudy.
One Chang K’uei was the youngest brother of Chang Yüan and was more perceptive than his eldest brother. He said to me, “How do you while away the days and months in this desolate house?” He brought vinegar and soy sauce and presented them to me.
