무안금융조합

Definition

무안금융조합 (務安金融組合,1918~)은 본래 목포지방금융조합이었으나 1918년 금융조합령의 개정에 따라 지방이라는 글자를 없애고 목포금융조합이라고 칭하였으며 같은해 도시조합(목포금융조합)의 설립에 따라 무안금융조합으로 이름을 바꿨다. 사무소는 북교동 무안군청 앞에 두었다. 설립 당시 마을의 소농에게 금융의 편의를 제공하는 동시에 농사 지도 등 주로 농사의 개량 발달에 힘썼다.
