MediaWiki Installation

  • Copy MW file into public_html on server
  • Extract file
cd ~/public_html
tar -xvzf mediawiki-1.27.1.tar.gz
mv mediawiki-1.27.1 wiki
ls -l

MediaWiki Set-Up

  • Go to address
  • Follow instructions
  • Download LocalSetting.php
  • Add LocalSetting.php to FTP

Install Composer

php -r "copy('https://getcomposer.org/installer', 'composer-setup.php');"
php composer-setup.php

Install SMW using Composer

php composer.phar require mediawiki/semantic-media-wiki "~2.5"
php composer.phar update --no-dev
php maintenance/update.php --skip-external-dependencies

Add enableSemantics( 'dh.aks.ac.kr/~semantic/wiki' ); to LocalSettings.php and update to FTP
