- The emergence of the public and digital humnanities along with timely concerns about preserving the digital record naturally places archivists and digital curators in the middle of the emerging digital landscape. - Nevertheless, it recognizes the broader implications of digital curation for digital humanities and other disciplines. This is a mutually engaging space-a digital curation workspace-where collaboration and discourse continue to present new knowledge regardless of the format of the primary source. Therefore these two worlds cannot be mutually exclusive!
