There are two flagpole supports located about 90 m from each other in the courtyard of the southern corridor. They have identical design and were made using the same technique. Both flagpoles are missing, and only supporting pillars (and bases) remain to this day. When the western stone pagoda was dismantled for renovation, a stone(s) shaped like flagpoles were unearthed, which confirmed that the flagpoles were also made of stone material. The flagpole supports measure about 4.5 m in height and feature carved decorative band designs on the outer edges, front, and back. There is a hole on the inner side of each pillar which would have been used to secure the flagpole. The supporting pillars stand on stone bases, which are also decorated with carved designs on each side.
