국문
암문은 일종의 비밀 통로로 적이 관측하기 어려운 곳에 설치된다. 남한산성에는 모두 16개의 암문이 있는데 본성에 11개, 봉암성에 4개, 한봉성에 1개가 설치되어 있다.
옥정사지 암문은 폭 95cm, 높이 180cm로 북문을 보조하기 위해 설치되었고 성 바깥 하남시 법화골로 연결된다. 암문 안쪽은 평거식(직사각형)이고 바깥쪽은 홍예식(아치형)이다.
