해설문
국문
이 곳은 유형문화재 ‘예천 명봉사 문종대왕 태실비’가 있던 장소이다. 원래 영조 11년(1735) 명봉사 대웅전 뒤편 산봉우리에 걸립돼 있던 것을 일제강점기 때 이곳으로 옮겨 ‘명봉사 사적비’와 함께 두었다.
2012년~2014년까지 ‘문종대왕 태실’에 대한 발굴과 정밀지표조사가 이루어져 2016년에 현재의 모습으로 복원되면서 ‘문종대왕 태실비’도 원 위치인 명봉사 대웅전 뒤편 산봉우리에 있는 태실로 옮겨졌다.

This was the site of the stele of the placenta chamber of King Munjong (b. 1414, r. 1450-1452) of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1910).

이곳은 조선 문종(재위 1450-1452)의 태실비가 있던 곳이다.
