현 강남구 삼성동 수도산에 자리한 한성 도읍기 백제의 토성 터로, 탄천과 한강이 만나는 요충지에 위치하여 왕성을 방어하는 군사 요새 역할을 하였다. 이 지역이 개발되면서 옛 성터는 사라졌지만, 성벽으로 보이는 일부 유적이 발견되어 토성이 있었음을 알 수 있다.

Site of the Earthen Fortification in Samseong-dong

The earthen fortification in Samseong-dong once stood on Sudosan Mountain and is believed to date to the the period between 18 BCE and 475 CE when Hanseong (today’s Seoul area) was Baekje’s capital. Situated at a strategic point where the Tancheon Stream meets the Hangang River, the fortification served as a defensive outpost protecting the royal capital. Although the original structure has disappeared due to urban development, remnants believed to be parts of the fortress wall have been discovered.
