해설문
국문
이아는 중앙에서 파견된 관리를 보좌하여 지방의 사무를 관장하던 행정관청이다. 「남한산성도」(17세기 중후반)를 보면 이아는 처음에 행궁의 남쪽에 있었는데, 「중정남한지」*, 「광주부읍지」(1872년)**를 보면 연무관 북쪽으로 이전하였고, 제승헌(制勝軒)이라 불렸다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 「남한지도」(19세기)를 보면 연무관 북쪽에 건물이 많이 있는데, 여러 시기에 걸쳐 건물들이 건립된 것으로 추정된다.
2020년 이아터 일부를 발굴하여 석축 유구 4개, 건물터 2개, 단야 유구 1개, 수혈 유구 14개가 조사되었다.
- 판관(判官)의 업무를 보던 아문(衙門)으로 수어영 뒤에 있다. 영조 24년(1748) 남대온이 지었고 내아(內衙)는 정조 10년(1786)에 세웠다.

Local Council Site (Namhansanseong Fortress)
Local Council is an administrative office in a rural area assisting civil officials dispatched by the central government by overseeing local affairs. Map of Namhansanseong Fortress, compiled in the mid-to-late 17th century, depicts Local Council in the southern part of the temporary palace. According to the town chronicles of the Gwangju area compiled in the mid-to-late 19th century, the complex was relocated to a site north of Yeonmugwan Hall. Notably, the 19th century’s Map of Namhansanseong Fortress depicts multiple buildings located to the north of Yeonmugwan Hall, suggesting that they were constructed over a long period of time. An archaeological excavation was conducted on a part of this site, confirming structural remains of four stone platforms, two buildings, one smithery-related site, and 14 pits.

이아는 중앙에서 파견된 관리를 보좌하여 지방의 사무를 관장하던 행정관청이다. 17세기 중후반의 「남한산성도」를 보면 처음에는 행궁의 남쪽에 있었다. 19세기 중후반에 편찬된 광주 지역 읍지들에 따르면 연무관 북쪽으로 이전하였다. 19세기의 「남한지도」에는 연무관 북쪽에 건물이 많이 표시되어 있는데, 이로 보아 여러 시기에 걸쳐 건물들이 건립된 것으로 추정된다.
