수원중화기독교회는 1945년 해방 이후 중국 산동성과 강소성 및 대만 등지에서 수원으로 이주한 사람들이 예수를 본받고 복음을 널리 전파하고자 1955년 한국 내에서 네 번째로 세운 중국 교회이다. 인근에 위치한 수원화교중정소학교와 함께 경기도 내 중국인 사회의 대표적인 교육·종교·문화 교류의 중심지로 의미있는 역할을 담당하고 있다. 아치형 대문과 중국식 담장에서 중국 전통 건축 양식을 엿볼 수 있다.

Suwon Chinese Church

Suwon Chinese Church completed in 1955 was the fourth Chinese church built in Korea. It was built by the local emigrants from the provinces Shandong and Jiangsu as well as Taiwan to worship Jesus Christ and spread the Gospel. Together with Suwon Chinese International School located nearby, the church plays an important role of an educational, religious, and cultural center for the Chinese community in the Gyeonggi-do Province. The structure features some Chinese traditional architectural elements such as the arched gate and the Chinese-style enclosure wall.
