수원중화기독교회는 1945년 해방 이후 중국 산동성과 강소성 및 대만 등지에서 수원으로 이주한 사람들이 예수를 본받고 복음을 널리 전파하고자 1955년 한국 내에서 네 번째로 세운 중국 교회이다. 인근에 위치한 수원화교중정소학교와 함께 경기도 내 중국인 사회의 대표적인 교육·종교·문화 교류의 중심지로 의미있는 역할을 담당하고 있다. 아치형 대문과 중국식 담장에서 중국 전통 건축 양식을 엿볼 수 있다.

Suwon Chinese Church

Suwon Chinese Church is the fourth Chinese church to be established in Korea, having been built in 1955 by immigrants from the regions of Shandong and Jiangsu, as well as Taiwan, to worship Jesus Christ and spread the Gospel. Together with the nearby Suwon Chinese International School, the church plays an important role as an educational, religious, and cultural center for the Chinese community in Gyeonggi-do Province. The church’s arched entrance gate and enclosure wall display elements of traditional Chinese architecture.
