국문
안산읍성의 문지는 북문지와 동문지가 조사되었다. 이 중 북문지는 성 안팎으로 연결되는 길을 반복적으로 사용하면서 문의 흔적이 대부분 없어진 것으로 보인다. 다만 문이 있었더라도 문지 일대에서 기와 등의 유물이 출토되지 않아 문루*가 없는 상부가 개방된 개거식(開据式) 문이나 성벽의 일부를 뚫어 놓은 암문(暗門)이었을 것이다.
- 문루: 궁문, 성문 따위의 바깥문 위에 지은 다락집.

North Gate Site (Ansaneupseong Walled Town)
In Ansaneupseong Walled Town, the north and east gate sites underwent an archeological survey. Among these, the north gate site was repeatedly used as a road connecting the inside and the outside of the fortress, but most of the traces of the gate are presumed to have been destroyed(no longer remain?). No artifacts such as roof tiles were excavated in the region of the gate site, suggesting that it is presumed to have been a gate the layout of which had an open upper section without a gate pavilion, or a secret entrance partially carved in the wall

안산읍성에서는 북문지와 동문지가 조사되었다. 이 중 북문지는 성 안팎으로 연결되는 길을 반복적으로 사용하면서 문의 흔적이 대부분 없어진 것으로 보인다. 문지 일대에서 기와 등의 유물이 출토되지 않은 것으로 보아, 문루가 없이 상부가 개방된 형태의 문이었거나, 성벽의 일부를 뚫어 놓은 암문이었을 것으로 추정된다.
