Kitchen
This is a kitchen built to prepare food for special events held in this secondary palace. It was first built in 1795, at the time of the royal banquet for celebrating the 60th birthday of King Jeongjo’s mother. Afterwards, this kitchen was used as a separate cooking place for various events in the palace. Usually, this kind of facility was temporarily installed outdoors with tents and a brazier, and then removed after the event, but this kitchen was operated as a permanent facility.
