3호 해자는 최대 규모가 동서 길이 120m, 남북 폭 30m이다. 월성 북쪽의 석축 해자* 중 가장 길고, 평면은 직사각형이다. 석축이 거의 일직선으로 세워져서 석축이 만나는 각 모서리가 직각에 가깝다. 이 해자는 한 번 이상 크게 고쳐 지어졌으며, 비교적 토기가 많이 나왔다.

Moat No. 3 (Wolseong Palace Site, Gyeongju)

Moat No. 3 measures up to 120 m from east to west and 30 m from south to north. It is rectangular in shape and is the longest of the seven moats located to the north of Wolseong Palace. Because its embankment walls were built in nearly straight lines, the corners are close to being right angles. The moat was rebuilt more than once. Excavated artifacts include numerous earthenware items.

3호 해자는 동서 최대 길이 120m, 남북 최대 폭 30m이다. 평면은 직사각형이고, 월성 북쪽의 석축 해자 7기 중 가장 길다. 석축이 거의 일직선으로 세워져서 석축이 만나는 각 모서리가 직각에 가깝다. 이 해자는 한 번 이상 크게 고쳐 지어졌으며, 토기류가 많이 출토되었다.
