해설문

국문

• 1801년(순조 1년) 창건
• 2006년 복원

향대청은 제사에 사용하는 향을 보관하고, 전사청은 음식을 비롯해서 그릇이나 깔개 같은 제사에 필요한 모든 준비를 하는 곳이다. 전면 출입문은 두 곳인데, 넓은 쪽이 향대청에 보관한 향을 정전으로 가져가는데 쓰는 향문(香門)이고, 옆의 좁은 문은 전사청에서 일하는 사람들이 오가는데 썼다. 2006년에 발굴조사를 거쳐 건물터를 확인하고 건물을 복원했다.

향대청은 제사에 사용하는 향을 보관하는 건물이고, 전사청은 제례에 올릴 그릇이나 깔개 등 필요한 물품을 보관, 준비하는 건물이다. 전면에 두 개의 출입문이 있는데, 넓은 문은 향문(香門)으로 향대청에 보관한 향을 정전으로 가져갈 때 쓰고, 좁은 문은 전사청에서 일하는 사람들이 오가는 출입문으로 썼다. 2005년에 발굴조사를 거쳐 건물터를 확인하고 복원했다.

Hyangdaecheong and Jeonsacheong

Hyangdaecheong was used to store incense, and Jeonsacheong was used to prepare foods and vessels for the rituals. The buildings have a double gate leading to the main hall. The wider side was used to carry incense, while the narrower side was used to by people working in Jeonsacheong. This area was destroyed in the early 20th century and was occupied by private houses, but the buildings were reconstructed in 2006.

영문 수정

Hyangdaecheong and Jeonsacheong Storehouses

This building is actually two storehouses which share a roof. One half of the building was used as a storehouse for incense (called Hyangdaecheong), and the other half was used as a storehouse for ritual foods and vessels (called Jeonsacheong). There is a two-door gate leading to the shrine’s main hall. The wider doorway was used during rituals, while the narrower doorway was an entrance for those working at the storehouse. This building was once demolished in the early 20th century and the site was occupied by private houses, but it was reconstructed in 2005.

• 다시 확인해보니 건물은 두 개 아니고 하나인데... 이에 따라 많이 수정했음.
• 어느 쪽은 향대청, 어느 쪽은 전사청 (좌, 우) 알면 도움이 될 텐데...
• 문에 대한 설명 확인 필요 – 큰 문은 제사 지낼 때 쓰고, 작은 문에 평상시에 향대청-전사청에 일하는 사람들이 쓰는 것 같은데, 현재 국문은 큰문은 제사 지낼 때 향을 위한 것만이고, 그리고 작은문은 전사청을 위한 것뿐인데... 그러면 향대청에성 일하는 사람들은 어떻게 들어가는 건가?
