국문
A지구 저수지는 두 차례에 걸쳐서 만들어졌으며 각각 1차 저수지와 2차 저수지로 부른다. 1차 저수지는 자연 저수지로, 형태는 타원형이고 크기는 대략 54×30m에 깊이 4.3m 정도로 추정한다. 저수지 안에서는 목간*, 목제빗, 토기, 연화문 와당 등 다양한 유물이 나왔다. 특히 목간에는 무진년(608년으로 추정) 정월 12일에 열린 행사와 행사에 참석한 지방의 관리, 지방 유력 세력의 명칭 등이 적혀 있어 당시 생활 모습과 신라의 지방 지배 제도에 대한 정보를 알려 준다. 2차 저수지는 크기 18×27m, 깊이 2.3m 내외 직사각형이며 돌로 쌓았다. 시간이 흐르면서 1차 저수지가 자연적으로 기능을 잃게 되자 1차 저수지 내부의 밑바닥을 일부 파고 2차 저수지를 만들었다. 2차 저수지에서는 인화문 토기* 등의 토기와 목간, 목제 인물상, 목제 빗 등 각종 목제 유물, 연화문 와당 등이 발견되었다.

Water Reservoir in Zone A of Iseongsanseong Fortress, Hanam
This water reservoir discovered in Zone A of Iseongsanseong Fortress underwent two phases of construction.
The first-phase reservoir was a natural oval reservoir, estimated to measure 54×30 m in size and about 4.3 m in depth. Various artifacts were excavated from this reservoir, including wooden slips, wooden combs, earthenware, and roof-end tiles with lotus designs. In particular, the wooden slips recorded the names of local officials and other powerful local figures who took part in a ceremony held on the 12th day of the 1st lunar month of the mujin year (presumably 608). These wooden slips provide valuable information on the lifestyles and the local governing of the Silla kingdom (57 BCE-935 CE) at the time.
The second-phase reservoir was an artificial rectangular stone reservoir, estimated to measure 18×27 m in size and about 2.3 m in depth. Over time, the first phase reservoir naturally lost its function, and the second-phase reservoir was constructed by further extending the sides of the first-phase reservoir. Various artifacts were excavated from this reservoir, including roof-end tiles with lotus designs, earthenware, such as earthenware with stamp designs, and various wooden items, such as wooden slips, wooden human statues, and wooden combs.
