국문

『화성성역의궤』와 『수원군읍지』 등에 따르면 지지대 고개에서 현륭원으로 이어지는 임금의 행차길 주요 지점에 표석과 장승을 세웠다고 한다. 세워진 표석은 모두 18개였으나, 현재 원본을 확인할 수 있는 표석은 지지현(遲遲峴), 괴목정교(槐木亭橋), 상유천(上柳川), 하유천(下柳川), 만년제(萬年堤), 안녕리(安寧里) 6개이다.

상유천 표석 上柳川 標石

상유천 표석은 원래 세류3동 유천(柳川, 현 수원천)의 개울가에 세워졌다. 이후 물길이 바뀌면서 주택가로 옮겼다가 2007년에 지금의 자리에 두었다. 표석을 보호하기 위해 2016년에 복제본을 세우고 원본은 수원화성박물관으로 옮겼다.

하유천 표석 下柳川 標石

하유천 표석은 원래 수원천 주변에 있었던 것으로 추정되나, 이후 세류2동 44-7번지에 방치되어 있었다. 표석을 보호하기 위해 2008년에 지금의 자리에 복제본을 세우고 원본은 수원화성박물관으로 옮겼다.

괴목정교 표석 槐木亭橋 標石

괴목정교 표석은 원본을 보호하기 위애 2009년에 수원박물관 야외로 옮기고 지금의 자리에 복제본을 세웠다. 인근의 괴목정교와 미륵당과 함께 정조 원행길을 살펴볼 수 있는 중요한 자료이다.

Route Markers for King Jeongjo's Procession to the Royal Tomb

These stone markers were installed along the route used by King Jeongjo (r. 1776-1800) during the procession to the tomb of his father Prince Sado (1735-1762). A total of 18 stone markers were installed at the major points along the route, stretching from Jijidaegogae Pass at the present-day Uiwang-Suwon border to the tomb in present-day Annyeong-dong, Hwaseong. The six remaining original markers feature the following inscriptions: Jijihyeon (today’s Jijidaegogae Pass), Goemokjeonggyo Bridge, Upper Yucheon Stream, Lower Yucheon Stream, Mannyeonje Reservoir, and Annyeong-ri Village.

Sangyucheon Village Marker

Sangyucheon was the name of a village located in the Seryu-dong area near Yucheon Stream (present-day Suwoncheon Stream). This marker originally stood on the bank of the stream. Later, as the stream changed its course, it was moved to a residential area and eventually to its current location in 2007. In 2016, the original marker was moved to Suwon Hwaseong Museum for preservation purposes and a replica was installed in its place.

Hayucheon Village Marker

Hayucheon was the name of a village located in the Seryu-dong area near Yucheon Stream (present-day Suwoncheon Stream). This marker originally stood on the bank of the stream. In 2008, a replica was installed at its current location, and the original marker was moved to Suwon Hwaseong Museum for preservation purposes in 2009.

Goemokjeonggyo Bridge Marker

This marker was installed next to Goemokjeonggyo Bridge just south of Jijidae Pass. In 2009, the original marker was moved to Suwon Museum for preservation purposes and a replica was installed in its place.

영문 해설 내용

이 표석들은 조선 정조(재위 1776-1800)가 아버지 사도세자(1735-1762)의 묘소에 행차할 때, 왕이 이동하던 길에 세웠던 것이다. 수원과 의왕 사이에 위치한 지지대고개에서부터 지금의 화성 안녕동에 있는 현륭원으로 이어지는 행차길 주요 지점에 총 18개의 표석을 세웠다. 현재 원본을 확인할 수 있는 표석은 지지현(遲遲峴), 괴목정교(槐木亭橋), 상유천(上柳川), 하유천(下柳川), 만년제(萬年堤), 안녕리(安寧里) 등 총 6개이다.
