기존 국문

저수지는 2차에 걸쳐 만들어졌으며 산성 내 자연계곡 아래쪽을 막아 저수를 하여 사용하였고, 2차 저수지는 1차 저수지를 준설한 후 4면에 석축을 하여 만들었다. 석축은 매 단 50×20×30cm의 돌로 5cm 가량 들여쌓기를 한 것이 특징이다. 성벽은 외벽을 옥수수 알 모양으로 아름답게 돌을 다듬어 축성하였고 그 속에는 이보다 이른 시기에 축조된 또 다른 성벽이 조사되었으며 성벽 내에는 배수로도 잘 남아 있다. 이 산성은 백제가 처음 축조한 것으로 보이며, 그 후 고구려와 신라가 보축補築하여 사용한 것으로 보인다.

Reservoir and Fortress Walls There are two reservoirs withn the grounds of Iseongsanseong Fortress, the forst of which was made by building a barrier in a lower part of the valley, while the second was made by dredging the first reservoir and building a stone embankment on all four sides. The embankment was built by piling up hewn stone blocks sized 50×20×30츠. 쏟 fortress site contains two fortress walls built in two different periods. The second wall, Which was built outside the first, features a more elaborate structure consisting of carefully hewn stones. Experts conjecture the wall was originally built by Baekje, and then captured, and extended by Goguryeo and Silla on separate occasions.
