국문
불설대보부모은중경은 부모의 은혜에 대한 부처님의 가르침을 담은 불교 경전으로 줄여서 부모은중경 혹은 은중경으로 부른다. 불설장수멸죄호제동자다라니경은 죄악을 없애고 아이가 건강하게 자라도록 장수하는 방법에 대한 것으로 장수경이라 부르기도 한다.
현재 완주 구룡암에서 소장하고 있는 불설대보부모은중경과 불설장수멸죄호제동자다라니경은 1452년(문종 2년) 완주 원암사에서 발행한 유일한 목판본으로 근래 복장 유물로 발견되었다. 전체적인 인쇄 및 판각 상태로 보아 모본인 완주 화암사본을 능가할 수준으로 정교하게 판각되었으며, 권 말에 간행 시기, 간행 사찰, 시주자 등이 기록되어 발간 사실을 명확하게 알 수 있다. 특히 부모은중경 언해자인 ‘오응성’의 조부 ‘오효면’이 간행한 원암사본을 저본으로 발간했다는 점에서 국어사로도 중요한 자료다.
불설대보부모은중경과 불설장수멸죄호제동자다라니경은 완주 대각사에서 소장하다 2022년 구룡암으로 기증되어 관리되고 있다.

Sakyamuni’s Teaching on Parental Love and Dharani Sutra of Sakyamuni’s Teaching on Longevity, the Extinction of Offences, and the Protection of Young Children are Buddhist scriptures that explicate the Buddha’s teachings through text and illustration. The former covers the love of one’s parents and the importance of repaying their love and sacrifices, while the latter teaches how to repent from sins, protect children from evil, and live a long life.
These woodblock-printed copies of the two scriptures kept at Guryongam Hermitage were published together in 1452 at Wonamsa Temple in Wanju. They originally belonged to Daegaksa Temple but were donated to Guryongam Hermitage in 2022. Overall, the woodblock carving technique is very sophisticated, and illustrations are included alongside the text to help lay believers understand the content. At the end of each volume is a record of its publishing details, including the date and place of publication, as well as the patrons who funded the publication.
영문 해설 내용
『불설대보부모은중경』과 『불설장수멸죄호제동자다라니경』은 글과 도해로 부처님의 가르침을 담은 경전이다. 『불설대보부모은중경』은 부모의 은혜가 크고 깊음을 설하고 그 은혜에 보답하라는 내용이고, 『불설장수멸죄호제동자다라니경』은 죄악을 없애고 악귀로부터 아이들을 보호하며 장수하는 방법에 대한 가르침을 담았다.
구룡암에서 소장하고 있는 이 두 목판본 경전은 1452년 완주 원암사에서 간행되었다. 원래 완주 대각사에서 소장하고 있다가 2022년 구룡암으로 기증되었다. 전체적으로 매우 정교하게 판각되었고, 일반 민중의 이해를 돕기 위해 본문에 판화를 배치하였다. 권 말에는 간행 시기, 간행 사찰, 시주자 등이 기록되어 있어 발간과 관련한 사실을 명확하게 알 수 있다.
