해설문

발굴 조사 결과 앞면 6칸, 옆면 1칸 규모의 건물로 확인되었으며, 동쪽, 서쪽, 북쪽에 축대가 있다. 건물터에서 아궁이와 온돌 시설 등이 확인되지 않는 것으로 보아 불을 때지 않고 특수한 용도로 이용했던 건물로 추정된다. 건물터 중앙에는 이 건물이 없어진 후에 들어선 것으로 보이는 숯가마가 발견되었다.

Yangmongwa Hall

This is the site of Yangmongwa. The name "Yangmongwa (養夢窩)" means "House of Cultivating Dreams."

Archaeological surveys conducted in 2015 revealed that Yangmongwa was a 19.7 m wide by 5.8 m deep structure with retaining walls in the east, west, and north. However, no traces of a hearth or an underfloor heating system were discovered. The function of this building is uncertain, but it is possible it was used as a temporary guest house during the warmer times of the year. The remains of a charcoal kiln were also discovered in the center of the site and appear to have been built after the original building was no longer standing.

영문 해설 내용

이곳은 양몽와가 있던 곳으로, ‘양몽와’라는 이름은 ‘꿈을 키우는 집’이라는 뜻이다.

2015년 발굴조사 결과 양몽와는 가로 19.7m, 세로 5.8m 규모의 건물로 동쪽, 서쪽, 북쪽에 축대가 있었음이 밝혀졌다. 건물터에서 아궁이와 온돌 시설 등은 확인되지 않았다. 건물의 용도는 확실히 알 수 없으나, 일년 중 따뜻한 시기에 손님들을 위한 임시 거처로 사용되었을 것으로 보인다. 건물터 중앙에서는 원래의 건물이 없어진 후에 들어섰던 것으로 보이는 숯가마가 발견되었다.
