해설문

동궁과 월지 유적의 연못 서편과 남편에서 총 31동의 건물 터가 확인되었다.

남편 건물 터는 독립된 건물 터(O,S,T)와 긴 복도 형식의 건물 터(N,P), 긴 건물의 부속 건물 터(Q), 소규모 건물 터(W~Z) 등으로 구성되었다. 남편 건물 터 주변에는 직선으로 된 담장들이 설치되었다. 이 담장들은 주변의 건물 터와 수로 등으로 미루어 볼 때 건물들과 함께 세워지거나 건물이 들어서기 전에 세워진 것으로 보인다.

Southern Building Sites (Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, Gyeongju)

To the south of Wolji Pond, the sites of 13 buildings have been identified. They consist of three detached buildings (Nos. O, S, and T), two long corridor buildings (Nos. N and P), one auxiliary building to a long corridor building (No. Q), four small buildings (Nos. W-Z), and three miscellaneous buildings (Nos. R, U, and V). There are also several straight stone walls that are presumed to have been built before or at the same time as the buildings.

Together with the finds to the west of the pond, a total of 31 building sites have been discovered at this historic site.

영문 해설 내용

월지 남편에서는 독립된 건물 터 3곳(O호, S호, T호)과 긴 복도 형식의 건물 터 2곳(N호, P호), 긴 건물의 부속 건물 터 1곳(Q호), 소규모 건물 터 4곳(W-Z호), 기타 건물(R, U, V호) 등 총 13곳의 건물 터가 확인되었다. 건물 터 주변에는 직선으로 된 담장들이 설치되었으며, 이 담장들은 건물들과 함께 세워지거나 건물이 들어서기 전에 세워진 것으로 보인다.

동궁 내 월지의 서편과 남편에서는 총 31동의 건물 터가 확인되었다.
