해설문

경산 부적리고분군은 임당 구릉에 있는 3개의 고분군 중 가장 북동쪽에 있는 6개의 고분으로 구성된 고분군으로 2018년 5월 28일 사적 경산 임당동과 조영동고분군에 추가로 지정되었다.

BⅥ호분은 현재 남아있는 5개의 고분 가운데 가장 동쪽에 있는 고분으로 2015년에 도굴 피해가 확인되어 긴급 발굴조사(2016. 6. 7.~2017. 7. 21.)를 실시한 결과 덧널과 돌덧널로 이루어진 돌무지덧널무덤임을 확인하였다.

무덤에서는 금동제 도자장식, 관고리 등의 금속기와 토기 등 160여점의 유물과 오리뼈, 복어뼈, 잉어뼈 등 다양한 동물 자료가 출토되었다. 도굴의 피해가 없었다면 압독국(押督國) 최고 지배자를 상징하는 금공품 등의 유물이 다양하게 나왔을 것으로 추정된다.

고분에서 출토된 도자장식과 토기류 등으로 보아 6세기 전엽~중엽 경에 만들어졌으며, 고분의 주인공은 옛 압독국의 지배세력이었을 가능성이 매우 큰 것으로 보인다.

또한 둘레돌(호석) 바깥쪽에 설치된 깐돌군에서 움무덤 1기가 조성된 것이 확인된다. 움무덤에서는 주인공의 인골 1개체와 철제허리띠 등이 출토되었다. 움무덤은 철제허리띠 등의 유물로 보아 8세기 후엽~9세기 초에 돌무지덧널무덤(BⅥ호분)의 깐돌 일부를 파괴하고 만든 것으로 보인다.

BⅥ호분의 봉분 원형 복원(2021. 6. 2.~2021. 11. 3.)은 사적 경산 임당동과 조영동고분군 종합정비계획의 일환으로 실시되었으며, 유적의 보존 및 활용을 위한 봉분 복원 등의 유적 주변환경 정비를 계속적으로 진행할 예정이다.

Tomb No. BVI – Ancient Tombs in Bujeok-ri, Gyeongsan

This group of ancient tombs, consisting of five burial mounds, is the northeasternmost among the three groups of ancient tombs on Imdang Hill in Bujeok-ri. In 2011, two nearby tomb groups were first designated as a Historic Site under the name the Ancient Tombs in Imdang-dong and Joyeong-dong, and the three tomb groups in Bujeok-ri were added to this Historic Site in 2018.

Tomb No. BVI is the easternmost among the ancient tombs in Bujeok-ri. In 2015, it was discovered to have been damaged from a robbery. During an emergency excavation in 2016-2017, it was verified to be a wooden chamber tomb with a stone mound. This ancient tomb is presumed to have been made around the early or mid-6th century, and the owner of the tomb is likely to have been a ruler of Apdok, an ancient state that occupied the present-day Gyeongsan area in the early Three Kingdoms period (57 BCE-668 CE).

A total of about 160 artifacts were excavated from the tomb, such as gilt-bronze pottery ornaments, coffin rings, and earthenware, as well as various animal remains, such as duck bones, blowfish bones, and carp bones. Had it not been robbed, it is presumed that the tomb would have had various artifacts symbolizing the greatest ruler of Apdok, such as gold metalware.

In the area around the tomb, one pit tomb was discovered with one human skeleton and one iron waist belt inside. This tomb is thought to have been made in the late 8th to early 9th century, in the process of which the boundary stones around the earlier tomb were partially damaged.

The burial mound of Tomb No. BVI was rebuilt in 2021 as part of a comprehensive renovation project for this Historic Site in Imdang-dong and Joyeong-dong. The preservation of this archaeological site and the renovation of the surrounding environment for its utilization are planned to continue into the future.

영문 해설 내용

부적리에 있는 이 고분군은 임당 구릉에 있는 3개의 고분군 중 가장 북동쪽에 있으며, 현재 총 5개의 고분으로 이루어져 있다. 다른 2개의 고분군은 2011년 ‘임당동과 조영동 고분군’이라는 이름으로 사적으로 지정되었으며, 부적리 고분군도 2018년 사적 지정 영역에 추가되었다.

BⅥ호분은 부적리의 고분들 가운데 가장 동쪽에 있다. 2015년에 도굴 피해가 확인되어, 2016-2017년 긴급 발굴조사를 실시한 결과 돌무지 덧널무덤임이 확인되었다. 이 고분은 6세기 전반~중반 경에 만들어진 것으로 추정되며, 고분의 주인공은 삼국시대 초기 경산 지역의 소국이었던 압독국의 지배세력이었을 가능성이 매우 크다.

임당동과 조영동 고분군 사적 지정 구역에 대한 종합정비계획의 일환으로, BⅥ호분의 봉분은 2021년에 복원되었다. 앞으로도 유적의 보존 및 활용을 위한 주변환경 정비 사업이 계속적으로 진행될 예정이다.
